Zayne- 2 Months

Littlest Dude is 2months old! Ok, almost 3 :) But changing and growing every day! So I gotta do a little updating before I forget all his big firsts! Also, for Raya I do "Raya Recently" and Kallen I do "Keeping up with Kallen" so what can I do for Zayne? Help!!

Ok, whats new with Mr. Zayne. He's a smiling machine! OMGeeee. He smiles with his entire face. Also fantastic as Smizing. Tyra would be proud. Big 'ol gummy smiles just melt my heart. He has a little bit of a giggle. He hasn't let a full out laugh just yet, but he does lots of giggling. Yesterday I took all 3 of them out for a walk in the beast of a stroller that I have (yep, I got a triple stroller!) And he seriously giggled the entire first 20 minutes and then we got to the park he started all over again. I didn't realize how much he doesn't get out! And how easy it is to make his day. With Baby #1 I was out and about all the time. So Raya saw all kinds of new people daily. With Kallen I got out occasionally. I could strap him to me and hold onto Raya or push her in the stroller, but now that I'm REALLY outnumbered we hardly leave the house, so Zayne is just amazed by the world around him when we get out. I feel like I'm constantly apologizing to him. Lol! Sorry for it always being so loud when hes trying to sleep, sorry that his brother or sister are all up in his grill, sorry that he never gets to see the outside world, sorry that he doesn't get to play on his play mat peacefully. I guess he doesn't know anything else, but I'm annoyed for him. Sometimes Raya and Kallen smother him so much it makes Me crazy! But he never cries about it. Just smiles and looks around.

Ok and last night I'm about 50% sure he rolled over. Twice. He was in an entirely different place on the mat when we came back in the room. And the distance from his original spot was either caused by a complete roll over or a sibling that pulled him. Soooo, when I came back in I asked both kids if they moved the baby and they both said No, so maybe a full roll? And no I don't leave him unattended with the other 2. Well mostly I don't. They're both pretty good around him, so I can walk out and grab some things and come back in and he's totally safe :)

He's also quite the coo-er. He coos and talks to me so much! I remember both of the other ones cooing, but not like Zayne does. I'm loving it!! At his 2month check up he was 12.9pounds and 22.5inches. He's in 3month clothes. Size 2 diapers. Size 1 shoes. He's in the 75percentile for height and 50percentile for weight. That was very similar to Raya. It will be interesting to see how he grows!

He's a very mellow baby. Just takes in the world around him. Watches the craziness that is his living environment. Rarely cries. Really only makes a peep if he's hungry or uncomfortable. He's a great sleeper. Falls asleep easily and sleeps pretty hard. Hes a big time tummy sleeper, so that gives me outrageous anxiety. When he naps he's usually downstairs with us and on his tummy on the couch, so I feel somewhat ok with that. And he sleeps with us at night, but every time I wake up I'm checking to feel for him breathing. Uh! Mom-anxiety is intense. Lol. 

I'm loving every minute I get with him! I don't get to hold him 24/7 like I did with the other 2, so I find myself picking him up and just snuggling him. I'm sooooo going to miss this age. Its just so sweet. So amazing. So wonderful. I could go on and on. Its the best and I try to inhale his sweet smell and sweet breath because I know I only have a few more months of a snuggly new baby!

Zayne, I'm so in love with you. I'm so glad I didn't get to plan my life, cause if I did, you wouldn't be here and I absolutely cannot imagine my life without you in it. You are absolutely beautiful. You light up my life just like your sister and brother do. I feel like the luckiest girl, and am the luckiest Mom. You are amazing Zayne Kyle. I am so thankful for you and look forward to watching you grow (and smothering you with kisses and cuddles, deal with it ;)

Sibling Love--Sept 2011

The older Kallen gets the more fun Raya has playing with him. They're pretty hilarious together. Kallen's favorite thing is trying to grab Raya's pacifier outta her mouth. They both laugh so hard when he tries to get it. 

Raya LOVES to hold his hands and dance with him. She use to do the same thing to our dog :) Every time a song comes on she grabs Kallen's hands and tries to get him to stand up and "dance" with her.

When Kallen cries Raya tells me "The baby's sad" or "Kallen's sad" and grabs my hand to take me to him. Its so cute how caring she is towards him. They really are buddies. They are so much like how my brother and I are. Its very sweet to watch them together. 

 I have the CUTEST video of them giving kisses to each other. The lighting is bad so you can't see it too clearly, but Kallen's faces were priceless. It was one of the best things I've ever seen them do. Like "Melt your Heart" cute! For some reason I couldn't upload it here so heres the Youtube link if you're interested :) It gets good about a minute into it.

So I remember when I was pregnant and went to Costco I got so excited thinking about having TWO kids to sit in each side of the double seated Costco cart :) So during out last trip the moment I'd waited forever for happened! LOL. Its the little things ;)

And they take really great group shots ;) I love my babies!!! 

Sibling Love- August 2011

The older Kallen gets, the cuter the sibling pictures get :) Because they start looking at each other, or hugging...or maybe its just that he's a little bit stronger so when Raya hugs him it looks more like an actual hug instead of a headlock. And hugs are always cuter than headlocks.

 Yah! They're both looking! Only a matter of time before they're both looking AND both smiling. But if you have 2 small ones you know thats all really about how talented (and quick) Mama is at taking the picture.

Still napping together <3 The other day I heard Kallen wake up so I went up to get him before he woke Raya up, but by the time I got there he had snuggled up to her face and put his hand on her cheek and fell back asleep. Sooooooo cute.

 Raya is always checking on him during our walks. The other day I got about a half a mile from the car and realized I only had 1 pacifier. So some how I talked Raya into giving hers to him because he was super tired and really wanted one. Well, he feel asleep and it fell out of his mouth, so Raya took the cue that he was done with it and she took it back. About 30 minutes later he woke up and was starting to cry and she took it out of her mouth and put it in his. He went right back to sleep and she kept an eye on him waiting for it to fall out of his mouth. 

He loves taking her pacifier. And as of now she thinks its hilarious. I love watching them play together.

 My Beach Babies

Raya is such a good big sister. When I was pregnant I was never worried about how she was going to react when I had the baby. It actually really didn't cross my mind until people started asking me about how I thought she was going to handle having a baby around. I was pretty sure she wasn't going to be jealous because she was so independent, but I also had no idea she'd be as amazing as she is. Who knew a 2 year old could be so sweet and so loving and so protective. Kallen's a lucky little boy :)

Sibling Love- July 2011

These kids are hilarious together. Or maybe Raya's hilarious and Kallen just puts up with it ;) But seriously, I got lucky with these two. One of the first things people ask, especially strangers, is "How is She with Him?" Or "Is She jealous?" Isn't it funny that strangers ask that? Anyways, Raya is still just wonderful to Kallen. She's never once been jealous or mean to him. Maybe because she's too young? Or maybe because she's obsessed with him :) Or maybe because she thinks its hilarious when she dances and walks over him simultaneously? Or because she loves that he laughs at everything she does. Who knows...but it works for both of them!

 This was when they both woke up at the same time. They were just laying in bed together. Holding hands. Raya was telling him about something...Yah, they're that sweet together.

The other morning I was in the kitchen and the kids were in the living room when Kallen started crying. Raya ran over to the table with the rest of his bottle, grabbed it and ran back to him and popped it in his mouth. Then sat there and held it for him. And the other morning he woke up crying and Raya was like "Baby? Baby? Baby? BABY! BABY! BABY!" At first she was making sure I knew he was up and then she thought I wasn't moving fast enough because he was crying and she clearly thought I needed to be up there the first time she notified me that he was awake. And because I didn't jump up that very seconded she sprinted up the stairs and into bed with him and started making him laugh. Oh and the making him laugh thing...I've gotten it a couple times on video. She's really good at making him laugh. Right now she's the only one that can consistently get him to laugh hard. Like his belly laugh. They're a good sibling match. Maybe its their signs. My brother and I are the same signs they are and we got along great too! Isn't that funny that we're the same signs? Except we're opposite: Bryce and Raya are Taurus'  and Kallen and I are Capricorns. So it'll be a little bit of a different dynamic...
