Happy Half Birthday!! Can you believe you're a Half Year Old?! Cause I can't.

You turned 6 months May 13th, 2012. You're definitely getting stronger and more independent. You're working on sitting unassisted. By the time we got to the end of the month you could sit long enough to have some super cute 6month photos taken, which is the important stuff ;) lol

I gave you some first bites of food! We started with sweet potatoes. You weren't really into it. I think it was the texture that you weren't too fond of. You couldn't really figure out what to do with it once it was in your mouth, so you pushed almost all of every bite back out. We'll try again later! You're still nursing and that seems to do you just fine!

You're loving all the new toys you can play with now that you're a bit stronger and more coordinated. I can keep you pretty busy with a handful of "new" toys. Its fun to watch you discover new things and watch your little brain work.

6month Stats: You weigh 17pounds and are 25inches long. That's exactly what Raya was at this age, well she wasn't quite 17lbs, but close enough. You're in size 6month and 9month clothes. Size 3 diapers and size 2-3shoes. You're my "normal" sized baby. lol!! Raya was so long and Kallen was so ginormous, so I'm thinking maybe you'll take after my side of the family :) I'm sure that will be annoying when you're 13! So I'll keep my fingers crossed that you at least get your Daddy's height.

You are still my happy, sweet baby. I swear you go days without crying. You rolled over the day before you turned 7months. And your new thing is blowing raspberries with your tongue. You totally copy me too! When I blow raspberries you'll do it at the same time. Its hilarious. I could video tape that over and over and it will never get old.

Speaking of which I got super carried away with pictures this month. The cuter you get the more I take. And the cuter it gets to take sibling pictures. You and your brother and sister will have pictures and videos for days. You're welcome :) Consider your lives a documentary. Cause that's basically what I've got going on for the 3 of you. Haha!!

Thanks for being the best baby ever. Gah. I'm so obsessed with you. I could dote on you All. Day. Long. You get more and more handsome by the day and continue to be one of the most joyous presents I've ever been around. I love you sweet boy!!

So I JUST did Kallen's Monthly picture for 6 months. He turns 7 months tomorrow. HAHA. I was just in time ;) But really, when they turn 7 months its like Brand New 7 months, so I figure it won't be a big deal in the long run...

He was in an excellent mood. Raya, not so much. Well she wasn't in a bad mood. But I def interrupted her so I could take their buddy picture. And she thought that was really annoying...

I think I'm going to use this one for his "Monthlys"

And while I was taking his pictures...Raya was filling my closet with toys.

So then I tried bribing Raya with everything I could think of. "Raya, if you come take 1 picture, just 1! I'll give you chocolate. Or we can go swimming. Or we can go watch Bubble Guppies. Just 1 picture."

So #1 picture. But Kallen, well, just look at his face. HAHA. And Raya had her pacifier in her mouth. Annoying. "Wait, Raya, one more..."

 "Seriously Raya? Ok, 1 more..."

 This is so her "Fine, last one. Hurry up" Face

So I'll use this one :)

And then she decided she would take a nap before we go swimming

Oh but wait, can the baby take a nap with me?

Their "nap" last all of 30 seconds :)

So that was my morning...Nana came over in the afternoon and we all went to the pool

Sibling Love- July 2011

These kids are hilarious together. Or maybe Raya's hilarious and Kallen just puts up with it ;) But seriously, I got lucky with these two. One of the first things people ask, especially strangers, is "How is She with Him?" Or "Is She jealous?" Isn't it funny that strangers ask that? Anyways, Raya is still just wonderful to Kallen. She's never once been jealous or mean to him. Maybe because she's too young? Or maybe because she's obsessed with him :) Or maybe because she thinks its hilarious when she dances and walks over him simultaneously? Or because she loves that he laughs at everything she does. Who knows...but it works for both of them!

She's a cuddler...he's a cuddler...together they're buddies

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one

 This was when they both woke up at the same time. They were just laying in bed together. Holding hands. Raya was telling him about something...Yah, they're that sweet together.

The other morning I was in the kitchen and the kids were in the living room when Kallen started crying. Raya ran over to the table with the rest of his bottle, grabbed it and ran back to him and popped it in his mouth. Then sat there and held it for him. And the other morning he woke up crying and Raya was like "Baby? Baby? Baby? BABY! BABY! BABY!" At first she was making sure I knew he was up and then she thought I wasn't moving fast enough because he was crying and she clearly thought I needed to be up there the first time she notified me that he was awake. And because I didn't jump up that very seconded she sprinted up the stairs and into bed with him and started making him laugh. Oh and the making him laugh thing...I've gotten it a couple times on video. She's really good at making him laugh. Right now she's the only one that can consistently get him to laugh hard. Like his belly laugh. They're a good sibling match. Maybe its their signs. My brother and I are the same signs they are and we got along great too! Isn't that funny that we're the same signs? Except we're opposite: Bryce and Raya are Taurus'  and Kallen and I are Capricorns. So it'll be a little bit of a different dynamic...

And last year at this time I was dressing Raya up and still pregnant. AND we were in the coldest July in the last 99 years! Crazy: Raya Recently, July 2010
